  4. TRIBUTE TO DICK WINGER...Dick Winger passed away and was a great friend to Excelsior-Henderson. Dick and his wife Wanda are active with the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, and have been on the Board for many years. Dick is an Excelsior and Henderson motorcycle expert from the past, and has a great collection in his museum of older vintage motorcycles. Dan Hanlon first spoke with Dick in mid-1993, and Dick was among the first in the antique motorcycle community to be privately informed about what Hanlon Manufacturing was setting out to do. Dick was good at keeping the secret, and great when it was time to let the word out. He was a strong advocate to the company, and was present to help train dealers on the heritage of the brand, and he participated in the national motorcycle rallies with us, riding his trusty old Excelsiors or Hendersons. He is missed...The obit is written by Ivar Natins, a Road Crew Member. Press FIREITUP  to load viewer...

  10. Article about Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycles in September 2010 by the premier business magazine, Twin City Business. In a four hour meeting the writer interviewed the founder, Dan Hanlon, doing a look-back 17 years earlier from launching and building out the company. Keep in mind that when several hours of information is distilled down to a couple pages, the full flavor of the conversation may not be entirely captured. NOTE: On the magazine cover Dan Hanlon's name is mentioned along with a photo of Lady Gaga! Press FIREITUP  to load viewer...
